Advocacy Forum:
The Advocacy Forum meets throughout the state legislative session to discuss the progress of Idaho AGC legislation and works with AGC lobbyists to monitor issues relevant to AGC members.

Boise State University Student Chapter:
The Idaho AGC is honored to sponsor a Student Chapter of the AGC of America on the campus of Boise State University. Membership is open to any BSU student interested in construction management and other construction-related fields of study.

Building Forum:
The Building Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to the building construction industry in Idaho. The forum works to identify issues important to the association’s members, foster partnerships with government agencies, and advance the association’s work on building related matters, including legislation.

Concrete Forum:
The Concrete Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to concrete contractors and those who work with them. The Forum does not meet very often. It does however routinely share information via email and serves as an avenue for contractors to share their priorities with the Idaho AGC. Members of the Forum directly contribute to the Idaho AGC’s work with the state regulatory boards that oversee contractors working in this area.
Construction Leadership Council:
The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) is open to the rising leaders of the industry. The group's activities and meetings focus on leadership development, networking, and community service opportunities.

Electrical Forum:
The Electrical Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to electrical contractors and those who work with them. The Forum does not meet very often. It does however routinely share information via email and serves as an avenue for electricians to share their priorities with the Idaho AGC. Members of the Forum directly contribute to the Idaho AGC’s work with the state regulatory boards that oversee contractors working in this area.
Excavation & Utility Forum:
The Excavation & Utility Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to contractors who conduct excavation and either install or maintain utility systems including water and wastewater, natural gas, electrical, broadband, communication, and others. Members of the Forum directly contribute to the Idaho AGC’s work with the Idaho Underground Facilities Damage Prevention Board and other state regulators. They also help maintain an ongoing relationship with utility providers and the owners of other underground facilities. While the Forum usually meets in person only once or twice a year, it regularly shares information via email.
Event & Marketing Advisory Council:
The council is a great place for industry marketers to network and help shape Idaho AGC policy, marketing, and events. Idaho AGC staff regularly call upon the council for assistance and advice to ensure that the association continues to offer top quality events that meet the needs of all its members.

Highway Forum:
The Highway Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to the highway construction industry. The forum works to identify issues important to the association’s members, foster partnerships with government agencies, and advance the association’s work on highway related matters, including funding and legislation.

Idaho AGC Education Foundation Board of Directors:
The Idaho AGC Education Foundation (visit webpage at this link) is a non-profit, 501c3 charity dedicated to identifying, training, and employing future generations of Idaho contractors and tradesmen. It also leads the Idaho AGC’s workforce development efforts and provides scholarships to Idaho students seeking an education in construction-related fields. The Foundation operates the www.WeBuildIdaho.org website. Members of the Foundation Board are appointed by the Idaho AGC’s Board of Directors.

Idaho AGC Health Plan Trust Boards of Directors:
The Idaho AGC Health Plan is a valuable tool that helps make health care coverage more affordable for Idaho contractors. The two Boards of Trustees that oversee the Idaho AGC Health Plan are appointed by the Idaho AGC’s Board of Directors. Members of the Trust Boards must be from companies enrolled in the Health Plan.

INL Forum:
The INL Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to contractors who currently work at the Idaho National Laboratory as well as those contractors interested in doing work there in the future. It meets annually with INL officials to discuss upcoming projects, safety, and other issues important to the contractors employed at the nation’s leading nuclear research facility.

Landscaping Forum:
The Landscaping Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to landscaping contractors and those who work with them. The Forum does not meet very often. It does however routinely share information via email and serves as an avenue for landscapers to share their priorities with the Idaho AGC. Members of the Forum directly contribute to the Idaho AGC’s work with the state regulatory boards that oversee contractors working in this area.
Membership Forum:
The Membership Forum meets once a quarter to discuss how to grow the membership of the Idaho AGC. It is not “the golf tournament committee” (see Event & Marketing Advisory Council above). Instead, this Forum is a group of dedicated AGC members who work together with AGC staff to provide the most meaningful membership experience possible.

National PAC:
The AGC of America’s Political Action Committee (PAC) supports the campaigns of federal candidates including Idaho’s U.S. Senators and Representatives. Any employee of an AGC member company can donate to the PAC by contacting its chair.
Nominating Committee:
The Nominating Committee meets annually to select the recipients of the Idaho AGC’s annual awards (see awards and criteria here) as well as candidates for the organization’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Membership in the Nominating Committee is by appointment and is governed by the organization’s bylaws.

Plumbing & HVAC Forum:
The Plumbing & HVAC Forum is the association’s primary forum for discussing topics important to these contractors and those who work with them. The Forum does not meet very often. It does however routinely share information via email and serves as an avenue for plumbing and HVAC contractors to share their priorities with the Idaho AGC. Members of the Forum directly contribute to the Idaho AGC’s work with the state regulatory boards that oversee contractors working in this area.
Political Action Committee:
The Idaho AGC Political Action Committee (PAC) is dedicated to electing state officials who understand and support Idaho’s construction industry. The largest construction-related PAC in the state of Idaho, the Idaho AGC PAC is also one of the top ten donators to political candidates across Idaho. Membership on the PAC Board is by appointment.

Safety Forum:
One of the organization's longest-running groups, the Safety Forum meets quarterly to collaborate in making the construction industry safer for everyone. In addition, it works with all other Idaho AGC forums and committees to foster a culture that keeps safety as our top priority.

Specialty Contractor Forum:
Specialty Contractors make up half of the Idaho AGC’s membership. The Specialty Contractor Forum is the association’s dedicated space to ensure that these members have a seat at the table and a voice in the governance and priorities of their organization. The Forum works with the Building, Highway, Advocacy, and other Forums to ensure that the needs of Specialty Contractors are addressed.
