Dr. Anthony Perrenoud is the William H McMurren Chair of the Construction Management Department within the College of Engineering at Boise State University. He was born and raised in Idaho and received his PhD from Arizona State University in 2014. From 2014-2022, he taught at the University of Oklahoma. He joined BSU in 2022.
Anthony is dedicated to building the future of Idaho's construction industry right here at home. He spearheaded the work to complete the construction of the new CM building on the BSU campus, a project that had been underway for more than a decade. He is especially proud that the new building was "Bronco Built" — with BSU alumni and current students playing key roles in its design and construction.
Anthony has also played a key role in the Department's growth — the fastest growing program at BSU. Under his leadership the Department continues to not only add students, but faculty positions and other resources as well. He played a central role in the launch of BSU's Women in Construction, Engineering and Design (WICED) organization and continues to be a strong backer of BSU's national award winning AGC Student Chapter.
Despite his overwhelming administrative duties, Anthony still teaches courses and has daily interaction with students and industry.
