Our February Milwaukee Member of the Month is Kinsey Thatcher of Road Work Ahead Traffic Services. Kinsey owns Road Work Ahead alongside her husband, Robert Thatcher. Kinsey was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. In 2010, she met her future husband, Robert, at a coffee shop and in 2013, he finally convinced her to come work for him at Road Work Ahead Traffic Services as a Compliance Specialist.
In this role, she redesigned how Traffic Control Supervisors took the responsibility of filling out all the documentation for traffic control projects for ITD or its equal entity that oversaw the whole project. This increased their billing accuracy to 95-100%. She then redesigned the process again in 2024 to include live digital signatures on documents to step their processes into the digital era. Kinsey received her Traffic Control Technician and Traffic Control Supervisor certifications in 2016, and her Flagger Instructor Certification in 2025.
Most recently, Kinsey testified at the statehouse to represent the industry on House Bill 490 and explain her support of the amendment and how it will impact the industry to our state’s legislators. The Idaho AGC thanks Kinsey for her hard work, her time, and her passion for helping the industry thrive. Congratulations on being named Idaho AGC’s February Milwaukee Member of the Month!
