The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) has announced that the AGC Student Chapter at Boise State University has earned the Construction Management Skills Award in the 2020 AGC Outstanding Student Chapter Contest! The judges were greatly impressed with the chapter's preconstruction services and administrative activities such as design reviews, constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, estimating, scheduling, coordination, preplanning, and material procurement.
AGC of America has noted that "The Chapter’s performance of such activities, which mimic the tasks they will be responsible for in industry, have undoubtedly ensured the professional growth of your members with real world application of classroom concepts."
