CONTRACTORS MAKE ACHD ENDORSEMENTS: Rebecca Arnold & Kara Veit Earn Support

Both are running for four‐year terms on the Commission governing the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) – Idaho’s largest and only countywide highway authority.

The race in District 1 pits Kara Veit against three other candidates. “What sets Kara Veit apart from the others in this race is her determination to focus on solving problems, not tilting at windmills to score political points,” said Idaho AGC CEO Wayne Hammon. “The taxpayers of Ada County deserve a Commissioner that will safeguard their money, focus on the future, and cooperate with others – including city and county officials – to address the pressures of growth while maintaining Idaho’s way of life.”
