2016 CLC Texas Hold 'Em Tournament

The CLC’s annual Texas Hold ‘Em tournament went off last Thursday night, and if you weren’t able to make it, let me tell you, we had a great time!

As many of you know, the Idaho AGC’s Construction Leadership Council President, Nathan Miller with ESI, spearheaded a project this year to benefit the CLC for years to come:  with the help of The Bledsoe Group, ESI created some incredible high-quality poker tables!  These tables increase seating at the popular event and keep the CLC from having to rent tables in the future.  The tables certainly brought class to the evening, and we are both very proud of the end product and very grateful to have such generous members supporting our Construction Leadership Council.

In addition to ESI and the Bledsoe Group supporting the CLC’s event, we had Boise State University’s Construction Management Association volunteer as the tournament’s dealers, and we had a great group of sponsors!  Thank you Northwest Safety & Risk Services, Silver Creek Supply, Meuleman Law Group, Harris & Co., Payne West Insurance, Interior Systems Inc., Roofing Supply Group, Tates Rents, and Merit Professional Coatings Inc.  Without your help, the CLC could never put on such a successful event.

As you can see, we had a full house (haha) enjoying the festivities.

In the end, we had a fierce showdown between Kelly Hagans with Roofing Supply Group and Gary Fisher with Payne West.  You can tell from the photo they were both focused on the big win in the last moments of the tournament.

Congratulations to all of our winners!

Tony Ghinazzi with Merit Professional Coatings took home the 3rd-place prize, a movie-night basket, Gary Fisher with Payne West came in 2nd place, taking home a 300 piece poker set, while Kelly Hagans with Roofing Supply Group walked away as the tournament champion (no small feat!) with the Moscow Mule basket.

You can view all of the event photos HERE.  Thank you again to all sponsors and participants.  We hope to see you again next year!
