Alcohol and Drugs

Statistics show that alcohol and drug abuse are increasing on site. This leads to accidents.

Make sure it doesn't happen on this site.

ALCOHOL

1. In a high-risk industry like ours, alcohol and work are not compatible.

2. Alcohol is a depressant drug, which depresses parts of the brain function. When working on site you require all of your brain functions to save you from injury.

AGC’s 2015 Awards Competition Submission Deadline is Near!

The deadline for applications for the 2015 AGC/Alliant Build America Awards is coming up fast. Idaho AGC Now Offering Supervisory Training Program Courses!

In response to the feedback gathered from a recent member survey, the Idaho AGC is proud to announce that it will now be offering Supervisory Training Program (STP) courses. 

Designed specifically to meet the needs of the construction industry, this program consists of 6 courses that focus on the knowledge and skills that every supervisor must have to be an effective manager of people, time, equipment, and materials.

First let's talk about the safety precautions for workers in the operating areas of cranes or hoists, but who are not directly involved with their operation or use. Stay alert and pay attention to the warning signal from overhead hoisting equipment.
