Boise Safety Fest Registration is Open!

Please read the following announcement from the Boise Safety Fest Team:

MSA Releases Safety Notice for Workman Self-retracting Lanyards

MSA issued the attached User Notices regarding Workman 30' and 50' self-retracting lanyards (SRLs) manufactured between January 2015 and August 2015. Please check your projects/sites for the model numbers/dates listed below:

Save the Date: OSHA Construction Partnership Meeting is December 11th

Just a reminder that the  2015 Annual OSHA Construction Partnership meeting will be held on December 11, 2015 at the headquarters of AECOM (previously known as URS Energy and Construction), located at 720 Park Boulevard in Boise, Idaho.  Please park in the eastern parking lot and not in the Ram Restaurant's main customer parking lot. Eastern Idaho Fall Conference A Success!

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Eastern Idaho Fall Conference.  We are so pleased you all joined us, and thankful to INL Director Dr. Mark Peter's for taking the time to speak with us, as well as our sponsors for making the event possible.  Let's do this again next year!


2015 Convention Auction Donations

Dear AGC Member,

In celebration of our 81ST anniversary, we will be hosting our annual convention at the Boise Centre, on December 10, 2015.   This event is the largest gathering of commercial contractors in the state of Idaho and will feature a trade show, awards gala, and dinner featuring former White House staff member Karl Rove as guest speaker, and our popular live and silent auctions benefiting the charitable work of the Association. 

MSHA Seasonal Safety Initiative Outreach

As we move out of summer weather and into fall, it is important to keep safety in mind.  Take a moment to read this "Seasonal Safety Alert" from the Mine Safety and Health Administration reporting on 2015 fatal injuries on the worksite around the country.
