Scholarships

The mission of the Idaho AGC Education Foundation (IAEF) is to attract and retain quality workers in the construction industry.  IAEF serves Idaho by providing direction and support to educate and train Idaho’s existing and future construction workforce.  The annual award of student scholarships is one of the major ways in which IAEF achieves its mission.

Scholarships are available to:

  1. Students of career, technical and apprenticeship education programs that result in a skilled crafts certification.
  2. College freshmen, sophomores, and juniors pursuing, or planning to pursue a two, four, or five-year degree program in an Idaho construction and/or civil engineering program.
  3. Graduating High School Students entering post-secondary Construction Education.

All scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, skill craft training and aptitude, extracurricular activities, employment experience, financial need, and a demonstrated interest in a construction industry career.  Applications are reviewed by the IAEF.  Applications are typically available in January with a May submission deadline.  Applications are reviewed by the IAEF.  Applications are typically available in January with a May submission deadline.  Applications can be downloaded by clicking HERE.
