The Environmental page primarily contains information on the two areas that impact our members the most- Stormwater & Air Quality regulations and compliance.

The Idaho AGC offers a Water Pollution Control Manager (WPCM) Course several times each year around the state.  This 2-day certification course meets the Idaho Transportation Department requirement for General Contractors to provide weekly inspections by an ITD Certified Water Pollution Control Manager (WPCM). This course covers EPA requirements for NPDES & Stormwater, ITD Requirements, and also includes 1/2 day REVIEW of in-the-field Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP’s). A WPCM is required to complete training within twelve months of beginning a new project and does not need to take the course again if the project takes longer than twelve months to complete.

If you would like further information on the ITD requirements, please visit the ITD Stormwater Page.

Air Quality in Idaho is regulated by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.  If you need further information, please visit the Idaho DEQ website.

The AGC of America provides frequently updated Construction related Environmental news on this page.
