Welcome to the Idaho AGC Safety, Environmental, and Education Services information page. This area describes the education, services, and resources offered to assist you with your Safety, Environmental, and Education requirements.

The Safety, Environmental, and Education Services Department has a full-time Environmental, Health, & Safety professional who works for you, as an extension of your own staff. We can help you establish a company safety and health program or evaluate the program currently in place. We also provide tailored safety training and jobsite safety inspections.

Our primary goal is to provide comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety Services that are affordable and cost effective to all of our members.

Classes that we offer regularly include:

  • OSHA 10 Hour Construction
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Classes
  • Mobile Crane Operator Certification
  • Qualified Rigger/Signal Person Training
  • Water Pollution Control Manager (WPCM)

The Idaho AGC has developed a direct partnership with Boise Area OSHA office. This relationship helps keep the Idaho AGC membership up to date on new safety standards and compliance issues which affect the construction industry.

We also send out a Weekly Safety Toolbox Talk via email.  Please contact us if you would like to be added to the Distribution List.

We have a Safety Video/DVD Library at each of our locations where members may check out videos or dvds for one week periods.
